I've come pretty far in life
and i don't know if i believe you.

Is there really something
beyond that rainbow afar?
Will I wake up where the clouds are far
if I wish upon a star?

Yes, bluebirds fly over the rainbow
And, yes, we should, too.
On this particular subject,
I do agree with you.

But, oh, it seems so impossible,
like it could never happen to me.
But if it does, however impossible,
I wouldn't get there with negativity.

So, tell you what, Dorothy,
I'll keep my head up high,
I'll keep dreaming, and wishing,
And maybe, like bluebirds, I'll fly.
