Her lips are moist like dew on a rose,
with fragrance there to tease.

Skin of white like silk to touch,
like a cooing dove when she sighs.
With fleeting glance I see her face,
and hear her pleading cries.

Angels breath upon her hair,
that reaches to her waist.
Upon my cheek she leaves a kiss,
my lips have longed to taste.

Like precious gems her mystical eyes,
pierce into my soul.
This empty vessel longs for thee,
please come and make me whole.

A whisper and a touch, an illusive dream,
like a glimmer in the night.
For a moment in time, two hearts caressed,
but then she takes her flight.

This is a very sweet poem. I know that almost any girl would love to have a guy write something like this about her. It's very beautiful.

Beautiful write about the illusive maiden who inhabits our dreams. Excellent construction in rhyme and meter.
