Nelson likes to say his name
Out loud, when no ones around.
Sometimes what he says makes him happy,
Sometimes what he says makes him sad,
other times he just repeats it,
It doesn't make him feel at all.
He tests himself with objectives,
Calls them the ingredients of the day.
They enable him to make an opinion,
For when he says his name.

hmm, not sure i quite get the meaning of this poem - but its well written and i feel like i relate to it on some level. your comment about not being mundane tasks is relevant to everyone at some point - things you've done a thousand times but just can't quite do today. anyway, great write, keep them coming.
