This gang of people circled me,
Then pushed me to the ground,
They taunt and shout, and scream at me,
When no one else is around.,
They have taken away my confidence,
And also my posessions,
They left me with no self respect,
Just a dose of deep depression.

When the teacher is about,
They pretend they are my mates.
But when the bell rings at four,
They are waiting at the gates,
They continue their abuse of me,
And even rip my coat,
The tears well up in my eyes,
And a lump comes to my throat,

I look at them in fear,
But catch the leaders eye,
I look at him despairingly,
And utter one word "WHY"
His reply was not forthcoming,
But the guilt shows in his face,
He wishes he was somewhere else,
Anywhere but in this place

So the moral of my story is,
A bully will never win,
For he is the one with cowardice,
And will pay one day for his sin
I was left alone from that day,
They realised they were wrong,
The bullies they were weaklings,
And me,I became strong. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 223 [topic] => 75 [informant] => jerseysue [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )
