The stars wouldn’t dare to shine as bright
The trees whistle falls on deaf ears
In the warmth two bodies provide
One can not collide
With itself
Immersed
In a tormented birth
From inception
To eventual hurt
Submerged
Hidden from the earth
Below the gravel
The tears unravel
The story
Of solidarity
In moments of togetherness
In tenderness
Affection blemishes
An otherwise clean
Immaculate
Impulsively procrastinate
Idealized
Rationalized
Cut down to size
In halves
Pieces of past lives
Reaches a boiling point
A cajoling
Sweet talking ride
Mind blowing compromise
You go your way
And I’ll have to go mine

very nicely done...goodbyes are sometimes tough (but they sure can inspire some good writes)! i can feel your resentment in this...good job portraying your feelings.

I saw the tide turn in line 13..
then thankfully chalked it up as metaphor soon after-

simply penned and very poetic.. your pain-
your work is vastly underrated jyss if only by the amount of comments.. perhaps people aren't ready for you yet.. lol ..brilliant as always~

a true fan-

I suppose a writer is solitary in nature...Known by few, if any. Save for writes like this that bind us all together.
