That passes between us
Then it evaporates into the air
This night feels way too hot
But the sky is littered with diamonds
That make the situation so much easier to bear
Becuase we're both drunk off moonlight.

The newfallen leaves at our feet
Are actually just half-formed ideas
That no one could waste enough time on
but here and now
We'll spwaste as much time as we want
While we're drunk off moonlight.

It's amazing how clearly i can see you and your eyes
A moment ago you were barely there
But now you're everywhere i turn;
I'm loving the sight of you
And how you smile when your drunk off moonlight.

There's words escaping my mouth now
And i see yours moving, too
But I'm not listening
And neither are you
Becasue we're just too estatic
To be anything but in-love
And it's all the result
Of being drunk off moonlight.

Just Wow!

This is so captivating, and cradling. I fell as if I was kidnapped by this poem and given into something better than whatever situation I was in before I read it. You have such an amazing depth and are quickly becoming one of my favorite poets here. Well actually you have become one of my favorites.

This is a very potent and beautiful poem full of edible goodness to feed the reader. Using elements such as the moon is satisfying to the poet/reader, and here you have used it perfectly!
