[title] => The man with false morals
[time] => 2006-04-19 22:42:09
[hometext] => Simply a moment out of my life...
[bodytext] => Where is he? The innocent babe asks. Suddenly, I'm looking at my life Through a looking glass. Searching for answers Lost in the past. The future is upon me It happend so fast. How do I answer such a question Without reason or rhyme? I just say I do not know And that we'll both be fine. A puzzled look Then a smile I love you Mommy Comes in a little while. Perhaps he moved away. I watch my bright five year old say. How easy it would be, Allowing him to think truth Of his fantasy. So I just say I do not know. All the while thinking How fast he has grown. With no answers to give I look away. Thinking to myself That the jerk will be judged one day. The jerk...a man with false morals, Not a conscious to boot. Naieve and young, I thought he was a hoot. Quite the lesson I learned, What it's like to fall And get burned. Yet out of my perception of hell Life went on And we're doing quite well. Through struggles and triumphs I have proceeded To become everything The little one has needed. A cross to bear I would not call him For when you left It was sink or swim. Now here I am Almost six years later Eternally grateful that I swam.
