Array ( [sid] => 118041 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Being blinded [time] => 2006-04-09 22:05:24 [hometext] => tell me what you think, i know its more of a story though. [bodytext] => She sat on her front steps and felt the wind blow past her, she waited for him to see her, but instead he couldnt. so she went home, crying as usual, because to him she was invisible, while to her, thats all she could see.

She had always loved him and yet every chance she got to tell him, he never even noticed that she was there. every second she thought of him, he didnt even know she existed. Her bestfriend told her that he was not worth it to wait around for. That, there were other guys in the world. She still kept thinking that she shouldnt give up though, and she didnt listen to her friend.

Nothing could match up to the pain she felt as she did when she walked past him. Nothing could break her heart as much as his eyes glancing into other peoples' eyes. And even though she knew he didnt know she was there, she kept her hopes high that one of these days he'd look into her eyes and tell her he had loved her all along.

And when the day finally came that he glanced into her eyes, her heart nearly melted...
But, he didnt say anything he just walked past her. She was happy now that at least he saw her, but in her heart she wished soo much more had happened.

She sat on his steps regularly now, every afternoon, but he never even noticed she was there, finally she just moved on, and realized he would never notice her. She finally listened to her bestfriend, and learned that maybe all along she was blind. That this guy wasnt who she wanted, that instead of being in love with him, she was really in love with her bestfriend. Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
