[bodytext] => I'm here in my room depressed once again I can’t get rid of these feelings from within Songs that speak to me in a special kind of way Translated into words that I'm afraid to say Writing them out seems to help me a great deal I can say, or write, what it is that I feel Feelings of anger, but more so feelings of sorrow Down on my knees, head bowed, I'm praying for a better tomorrow Thoughts of never-ending loneliness have taken their toll Breaking my heart, my flesh, and abducting my soul Silence is what has seemed to have overcome my life Along with morbid thoughts of wanting to die I know better not to accept these thoughts but it’s so hard I’d give anything to be dealt other cards They say that He is the one who has made me But is He impressed with all the mistakes He’s seen I would like to change my ways to make Him glad Though these feelings, if gone, I would wish I had Bad news heard again from a person that I love We were doing so well but I guess “He’s” had enough I guess I deserve it for all that I’ve done But at least have the dignity to spare me just this one We cared for each other just so damn much Now we cry in our rooms praying for one last touch It hasn’t happened and maybe it never will So until it does my heart will just sit still Breaths of air suddenly taken without warning All day in my room, crying, from the night until morning Jesus, I beg you, just make me feel alright Send me an angel to watch and care for me tonight Prayer unanswered I wonder what I did wrong Maybe He wasn’t listening to me all along [comments] => 1 [counter] => 226 [topic] => 48 [informant] => lonely_boy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 7 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
