That scare not only me,
Things that lurk behind every shadow,
Things that you can’t see.

When I feel a chilly breath,
Catch a glimpse of a corpse,
Whenever I try to scream,
My throat just goes hoarse.

There’s evil behind each wall,
Each evil is my obsession,
Each evil I can’t escape,
And the evil is my passion.

I don’t quite understand,
This utter change of heart,
Evil is like the love I seek,
Evil is the forbidden art.

To me the dark is home,
The only place I can’t be seen,
And the music to my ears,
It's the sounds of children screams.

No no, this can’t be,
Am I turning into evil itself,
Or am I seeking something else.

There’s such thrill in the dark,
How perfect a raven blends with the night,
In the dark nothing goes wrong,
Nothing to fear but the light.

So this is what I’ve become,
A creature in the dark,
A nightmare that lurks within,
An eternity’s journey I’ve embarked. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 194 [topic] => 43 [informant] => Mild_Tempest [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

This is amazing.. I think that you should have put this under dark poetry. The way that you wrote this poem made it flow smoothly and when i read the first few lines it is like i had to read it. this was really really good..

thanks for the comment on my poem. I appreciate it..

take care

wow, this is exceptional. I loved it, nice dark poetry, written so perfectly. You are good, keep writing, blows me a way. very very full of images, places the reader right where the character is. Good job..
