[title] => My Pain Makes a Ticking Sound
[time] => 2006-03-13 19:55:52
[hometext] =>
[bodytext] => My pain makes a ticking sound I hear it when I listen. Even if everyone else is around, There it is, clicking in its position. When my emotions toss me off a cliff, Where down falls all my tears, I hold my hand up, shaking and if, I strain I can softly hear. Tick. Tick. Tick. I'll explode soon I know it. Sick. Sick. Sick. Lacing gunpowder as it's lit. And what could cause this ticking sound? Am I crazy to hear it resonate around? How did it get there and why choose to stay? A jungle gym of veins where it can play. Sliding down my esophagus, a roller coaster ride. River raft in stomach juices, In fat to seek and hide. One day like an insect, It will crawl out from my shell. It dare not touch my loved ones though, Or I'll beat it straight to Hell. In this thinking, I destroy my body, Silently, I'll have no trace. Hiding is hard, my excuses are shoddy, but a smile is on my face.
