The ghost that walks the streets
Her fingers trace the lines
Between the stones
On the fountain where she waits
For the girl that always sings
There is forever of this

Cloaked in white
Ruined and sad
Her dance is not with her anymore
Dust in her hair and scratches on her face
She has been crying so many times before

Pathetically she lies
Cobblestone streets covered in rain
Puddles reflecting the light of the city
They have returned
Dead and gone
It is her life, her right
It's not right

Cloaked in black
Restored and content
She dances like she never has before
Dust leaves her hair scratches disappear
She has been crying so many times before

Empty boxes laying on the streets
Filled with memories
You’d never know how much she wished
That was a past
When she lived now she is gone
A shell of what was before
The ghost in my mind

Cloaked in grey
Resolved and repenting
Her prayers are unanswered forevermore
Dust on her cross and scratches on her wrist
She has been crying so many times before [comments] => 4 [counter] => 166 [topic] => 43 [informant] => porcia [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

I love the way this flowed, and the feeling put into it. I couldn't really relate, but it was beautifully written.
