Dark skies bring nothing but pain,
For when the sun sets, theres nothing to gain.
While you dream, in your pretty little bed,
Im stuck in this hell, tormented by the thoughts in my head.
After all these hours spent alone in this cold silence
My only escape is through drugs and violence.
My brain is numb from this bodily harm,
But i cant resist this bottles charm. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 220 [topic] => 66 [informant] => EVERxSOxSWEET [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => drugabuse )

"This bottle's charm": I've never thought of addiction using that metaphor. I like it! Good stuff.

My brain is numb from this bodily harm
but i can't resist this bottles charm.

Great writing, wonderful imagery and playful rhyme
have
been placed along side the very worst of afflictions

keep up the excellent writing and the best of luck.
