Awakes, stirs once again.
Oh, how long must I suffer more?
Weeping in the night I’ve lost the war.
Tears like snow in spring,
This is it, this thing.
Pain likes to kiss me,
Anguish is the only companion I see.
This heart it aches,
As all my life light brakes.
Nothing to call my own,
Nothing but sadness have I known.
As deep as an eternal blanket,
The darkness it brings, I may not make it.
The wind behind,
Pushing me in, body and mind.
Whispering, this fool cries,
Filled with questions and whys.
Being filled with emptiness,
Then poured out with sadness.
The gold still shines the same,
People still went and came,
I did not see at all,
Being lost in this darkness, beckoning call.
Surrounded by the blanket so cold,
Never to fit in the right mold.
I have lost it all on my way,
All have left me and none would stay.
My life has been over; on the day I was born
No one noticed, none will morn.
If I could run, I wonder to where would I run?
Covered, trapped, how long since I’ve seen the sun?
What vastness through have I sought.
For friendship or love I’ve known not.
Was I made to be grief’s lover?
For pain to hold me like a mother?
I do not know what I’ve lost,
I have never had it at any cost.
A darkness deep within,
Now awaken, stirs once again.
No longer do I care,
The blanket, I forever now wear.
It is all over, I fight no more,
I am covered, carried away from the shore.
