If ever did I live it would’ve been then,
If ever did I hope it would’ve been found in him.
If ever did I love someone it would’ve been him first,
But he left for some reason he spoke of,
Yet that which he said I could reason untrue.
If ever I did know sorrow it would be now,
If ever I did know joy it would be with him,
Eternal tears down, down my face,
Eternal tears showing my disgrace.
If ever I know want, it would be only for him.

Love is meaningless if only felt by one.
Words are just that; words.
Words will be spoken as much as they are,
What I wish I still felt deeply running,
His name, his name.
Alas, such all encompassing is this pain,
to unbearable for me,
But the word-his name- what beauty I see in that
Name so sweetly I did hear, did speak.
If I have ever known people to cry
Over that which they can not control
For this I called them fools,
But when I heard his name,
When he walked away,
I knew this pain of eternal tears.
Oh, name I still hold to in my heart,
Why must you depart?
Did you lie when you spoke?
Should you run from the one who gives all?
What do you want to find all alone?
Name…strength, passion, humor,
But above, all sorrowful with pain.

If only I was a drink which you could consume,
Would you then desire me the way I do you?
Indeed, would you pick me up and hold me to your lips,
Taste each moment like it was your last,
Savor, relish, enjoy, take pleasure in each drop,
Drink slowly now, sip, after sip,
Until I burn in your throat a fire of passion,
Into your blood stream I would seep,
Making you warm toe tip to nose tip.
If I were but such a drink.

Name so great to my eyes, wonderful on my lips of pink,
I wish I was your drink, then I would be your curse.
Through all is, all this one is the most horrible sigh,
If I ever did know entire rejection,it was from him...

How long have you been on this site??????.....Cuz I wish I could have viewed your art earlier it would be a mere cliche to call this deep but it is. The figurative language was genius and I love the style you used in writing this one.
