why isnt daddy here to hold my hand?
why are there so much flowers
i've been waiting for daddy for hours and hours
daddy, daddy why arent you here?
to yell scream and cheer
why did daddy say goodbye?
why last night did he cry?
mummy what do you mean hes gone?
what have we done? where has he gone?
what happened what went wrong?
why is there a big black box
and people wearing long black frocks
is he in the box hiding in there?
why is daddy so cold?
why are those wrinkles on your face so ancient and old?
what do you mean hes gone mummy?
whta do you mean? hes right here! wake up daddy!
what do you mean hes gone mum?
gone from us?
suddenly i do understand
daddy will never be here to hold my hand
mummy , mummy i dont know why
but my tears are fallin from the sky
daddy i'll try to be strong
i just wish you were here to help me along
to shield me from pain
give me shelter in the rain
make me laugh giggle and grin
but now your gone
im going through hell
mummy is wiping away my tears
you should be here to hold me from my fears
mummy dont tell me not to cry
just tell me why,
why did daddy have to die? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 157 [topic] => 39 [informant] => purple_vixen [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 11 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )
