Confused

To be happy and smiling is one choice,
To be angry and want pain is another choice,
Does she have a life of happiness and smiles
Or a life of anger, hurt, and pain?
Which life does she have?

What does she see when she looks in a mirror?
Does she se a girl living a happy life?
Or a girl living a hurtful life
Trying to cover her anger and hurt with pain
By using a blade?
Who does she see?

All day every day she feels like
Like if pple are watching her.
All day every day she hopes and says,
Maybe, just maybe it will all get better.

Why does she feel this way?
Will it ever go away,
Or is it there to stay?

Who is this confused girl?
What life does she live?
What is she doing now?

This confused girl is me,
A hurtful life is what i have,
Im just trying to get my life straight,
But confused on how?
