But I know I can't come back
I wish I could have prevented it
Now as my colors fade to black.

Though my body is buried
Six feet under the ground,
I may not be here in person
But I will always be around.

The memory outlives the man,
Or so the quote is said.
Even though I'm not moving,
I'll still be running through your head.

You won't remember anything
Bad that I did to you
All that you'll remember
Is what I meant to you.

Though you sleep alone at night
In the bed we used to share
Even when my pillow's cold
You know I will always be there.

Promise me that when I'm dead
You never will forget me.
I can live forever
That is, if you will let me.
