Watch over your little ones while they sleep
Surround them with your protective light
As the sun warms us with its rays

As you bring us the flowers and trees
Bring them safely to adulthood
Strong and firm in your love
Sharing the beauty you gave them

To those who would hurt
Any of your wee ones
Send them to a fiery end
From where there is no escape

Help parents to show love
Patience and support
Let them see it is up to them
To nurture and embrace

Lord help us all to see
The gift a child is
To this
World

AMEN

Shari,
Absolutely heart touching and beautiful. An inspiring piece of poetry filled with a wonderful prayer for all our young ones. May God protect them and keep them safe always, Amen.

May God helps those little seed sprouts to grow into bigger and more beautiful trees and flowers, and bear more beautiful seeds that will grow in every part of the world, east, west, north and south, and let the sun shine down on them more and more so all the trees and flowers do not go pale, amen. Where is Son Light shines, the prettier we all are. Lovely poem shari, thank you, hugs from me...raquel leah
