When everything I have is what she gave to me
Is there any wonder I found peace through her
As I turn to the gates of heaven,
To myself, only a place to rest my head
An opal glow, from there trying to bring me home
But it's not time, my work isn't over
There is still something I have to do

Is it any wonder I can't sleep
when the world around me, is evolving rapidly
Could it be the search is over, and the town knows I'm leaving soon
So they are sucking up, trying to stop me from finding my love
But I must be travelling on, there's too many things in life I've got to see

Is it any wonder that I can't sleep
When my soul is restless urging me to go
And my heart is jumping out my chest

Is it any wonder I can't sleep
When everything I have is what she gave to me
Is there any wonder I found peace through her
