I was something to believe in
And take your condemnation with you
When you decide you’re leaving

I’ve had enough of talk and sex
Enough to last a lifetime
I’ve had enough of the bitter tests
Provoking me to crime

Leave my hands wrapped in guilt
For ending your dishonesty
I’m sick to death of how I’ve felt
I’m ending you honestly

**** you all who never said
I was something to dream in
And take your proud ignorant eyes
Shut them when you’re leaving
Because believe me
I believe in your dishonesty
And wrapped in guilt
I’ll honestly
End the bitter tests and crime
Open your blind eyes just one time

So I can spit in your face
**** you all

It's a viscious tongue lashing if i ever heard
one... it's great to write a piece that tells
exactly what you feel without the paint and
polish.

"So i can spit in your face"

it's raw, brutal and honest...
keep it up

Your defiant streak is definitely alive and kicking. That's certainly telling them,In your own inimitable way.I've read many of your poems today, they are all quality writes.I particularly liked 'The Remains Of Us'.
