Would you be on my side

Smooth shotgun
Can we go for a ride

Can I spend the night
Should I go

I bought my ticket
I might as well stick around for the show

The words have been stricken
Taken, out of context

Put it back in perspective
And then see what you get

Whats coming
What went

What disappeared
What was left

It’s a long walk home
Should I hold your hand

Are you cold
Would you want my coat

Gloves and scarf
The shirt off my back

Interesting work. A bit abstract, but that's no bad thing.

Keep it up.

I like this little part here:
"The words have been stricken
Taken, out of context
Put it back in perspective
And then see what you get"

Ain't that the truth? What would you get... less problems. Thanks for sharing.

Words have a funny way of wiggling themselves out of context quite often, especially when they're being read, as opposed to spoken...So I won't dig into the meaning of this too much, bearing that in mind. Seems like an ending...Hope things get better for you soon.
