    What's it like?
    Having your life, perfect,
    What's it like?
Never having to hold a blade to your arm,
Never having to feel the warm touches of it against your skin,
Not being addicted to the pain it inflicts upon one.

    What's it like?
Having a father that hasn't raped you,
    What's it like?
Not waking up to the screams I held in so long?
Not having the nightmares that seem to last forever,
Not seeing his face every time you close your eyes.

    What's it like?
Having friends that are there for you,
    What's it like?
To have people that want you,
To have those that will hold you tight,
And never let you into harm,
People that will always be the ones to protect you.

    What's it like?
    Never being depressed,
    What's it like?
    Always being loved,
Never having to be in the dark corners I call home.

    What's it like...?
    Not being me...
    What's it like?
Not watching the blood run down,
Never feeling the pain I feel,
Not having the life I have,
    What's it like....
    ....To be happy?

Oh....wow. Thats good, but, Omgosh, did that really happen? I have a friend, who's like that. Her Dad shot her mom, the shot himself. She so clingy, and lost......I think she understands this poem. Nice write, it doesn't suck.
