I thank you for my life, of solitude
Did I miss the prelude?
For the companionship I have
My own, what a laugh
For showing me your power, your glory
What a weak feeble story
Your book I shall forever keep
A fairytale to get kids asleep
The voices constantly in my head
From a lord, long gone dead
Will keep me onward bound
In this hell I have found

Dear James

I gave you life, from the very start
I gave you love, deep in your heart
Companionship I offer, to you my son
With open arms, your life’s just begun
Have faith in me, follow my path
The voices will cease, so will their wrath
You are gifted, with a love that you share
Yes you show people, that you really do care
Reread my book, a fairytale no
My words to you, is all it will show
New friends you’ll make, each new day
Happiness you’ll share, no more dismay

Dear God

Thank you for your time, your words so kind
But my own path, is what I must find
My own book, I have written
In my mind, forever smitten
Locked in my room, I am the king
The world outside, is frightening
Where I will go, I do not know
The road shall lead, to my final show
Reserve a seat, come and watch me
I promise one thing, a splendid finale

Amen

WHAT I think......God response would be.

James:

I give you a choice to follow me or not,
The road you choose is there,
But when you walk down the wrong road of life,
Always know I am still there.

You may not want to listen to me,
You have your own way,
But never forget I love you,
I CAN always make a way.

So you go ahead in front of me,
You walk down that road,
But remember always,
I am not that far behind..
I hope you know.
