Really,

I would love to stay and chat-
But I must be leaving

Try me some other time
Perhaps tomorrow evening?

Try, try again
Harder,
You will certainly fail
Most importantly
Success depends
On systematic reinforcement
Of the overt stimulus event

De-
Escalating
Words,
Tumble to the floor

Rendered irrelevant
They will speak no more

Select, choose, opt
Pick the best response
There are only two opt-tions
Yes, or maybe no, are the only direct duo,
Preference involved
Adherence to the directive
Interrupt the floating perspective
Born against the odds of a faulty contraceptive
Intercepted-
The communication became privileged

Reach out,
To conflicting ideas
Combine the smiles
With the God-awful tears
It only becomes worthwhile
As the wind picks up in speed
Delivers a message
With vigor and intensity
A simple observation-
Of concealed hostility, indeed

Disengage
From authoritative-
Control
Integrated passion
Fusing the parts with the immediate whole
The tough tool-box
Soup suds, discriminate
Moss covered rocks
Begin to disintegrate

What do people agree on?
What did you do right?

Do me a favor,
Hit the lights…

Diffuse,
The wired explosive
Ascetically pleasing
Blood-splattered walls
The shattered gloss
From the window pane
The glass splattered collects the rain

And all is left to the silence
Which always remains

Loyal to the ruler beside it
The silent screams of pain

Hmmm...okay...this one reminds me alot of one of my writes in particular. Almost like a 'part two', or 'his version of events'. lol I must've had one too many coffee's today. Everything I read seems terribly relatable! I actually like this one more than the last one I commented on...I thought I really liked that piece, but this one blows it away. This is one of my favourites, I think.
