Array ( [sid] => 110102 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Once upon a Whisper... [time] => 2005-11-20 22:43:14 [hometext] => A pointed poem, to someone who is torn between myself and another. I have yet to give it to her... The flow abruptly changes at times; I need to fine tune it methinks. [bodytext] => Whispers broken, silence cold
Whispers spoken, secrets told
Whispers dreaming, Lovers' art
Whispers mend a broken heart

Whisper louder, whisper clear,
Whisper truths into my ear!
Whisper pages borne of sages
Whisper what I need to hear!

A little louder, voices trickle
Speak to me of nothing fickle
Tell me tales of serpent scales
For what is hate when love prevails?

Hold my hand, let's run away
Into the land where visions play
Where poets paint and harps compose
Sweet melodies of life's repose

Lay you down in fields of flowers
And there we'll slumber, dream, for hours
Awaken then, to turn your gaze
Towards the dawn of love ablaze

We'll stroll in winds, we'll walk together
I'll hold you close against the weather
We'll push through storms and summer breezes
Lie warm by fires while winter freezes

Hark, the issue is at hand
I must confess what I had never planned

Before we enter lands of love
Before we soar through clouds above
Before we, two, are hand and glove

A road
A path
You must choose your love.

I tell you now, whoever's chosen
The other's heart will shatter, broken
Though timely healing brings back feeling
One small fragment will be forever frozen.

My heart is locked in chains of fear
I'm bound and gagged, you see, my dear
And In the end I'll shed my tear,
Just one. Just once, I'll persevere.

Whispers broken, silence cold
Whispers spoken, secrets told
Whispers dreaming, Lovers' art
Whispers mend a broken heart

Whispers deadened roar like thunder
Whisper now, rend me asunder!
And in the darkness, bear no fear
Smile and know that I was here.

It matters little who is right
As long as you are left

Well personally I thought this poem was
beautiful and I don't see anyway you could
make this poem better, but if you do then go
for it. Seriously though amazing I thought it
was a tad bit wordy at times, but I just loved
how you put it together. Yes, wonderful my
friend.
