Freedom from life
But lost from within
A soldier is fighting
But will he win

Strength and courage
Dedication and trust
Lord set me free
From a life of distrust

I fight each day
For my life's gone astray
I need you my Lord
To help find my way

Questions flood
With emotions untrue
Why turn my back
And walk out on You

Strengthen my feet
So I can walk in Your ways
Strengthen my voice
So Your love I'll proclaim

I read Your word
To strengthen my soul
To prepare for this battle
That consumes every soul

Give me Your strength
So we can walk hand in hand
Help me to grow Lord
To be an honorable man
