Momma's gettin older
brotha's gettin bolder
I feel like at the end
i'll be the only surviving oe
but the tears won't come.
Peolple die every day
kids killin kids just to play
and Africans, once noble, are leaving their brothers
dead in the hay
children are destroying themselves for fun
but the tears won't come.
I'm dying inside
I feel it
but can't repeal it

I'm at the barrel of a gun
a friend's time has come
but the tears won't come
what's begun is begun
and the road that the world's headed for
is a wild one
but the tears won't come.
