It’s a glimmer of lust
A need for her love

Heart still pounding
From the first time we kissed
How many years passed

Future and present
Together in past

Clouds so gloomy
Separation in time

And remember your mine

The touch of you skin
Ecstasy in my soul
I give you my heart
For you make me whole

Shadows of love
That lay on my soul
To forever remember

A glimmer of light
It’s a glimmer of lust
A need for her love
To give me that rush

Heart still pounding
From the first time we kissed
How many years passed
And you’re still my true wish

Future and present
Together in past
Together forever
Our love will last

This is one of your most beautiful writes to me. I love the flow, the use of imagery with the shadow and the light. I love that you show the world your love for me. I can't wait for you to come home. I miss you and I love you more each day. This poem is definantly frameable! I love it. Thank you.

aww, steve, that's really sweet!! i really respect and like how much you love your wife!! i wish there were more guys in this world like you! i liked this write, steve, it was well written, and i hope your wife knows what a lucky person she is to have you in love with her and in her life!! great write, keep up the great write!!!
