You were so beautiful to the sight And I couldn’t t stop thinking about you when I struggled through the night I couldn’t tell spring from fall, pain from bliss And I did not notice that your blood did not exist Why couldn’t I tell that although you had petals, you did not have a scent… That I could touch you, but that you could not be bent.
