Array ( [sid] => 107534 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Hello Again God [time] => 2005-10-11 19:33:36 [hometext] => this is the first poem i've written in a long time so please comment i greatly appreciate it...i really do [bodytext] => I was just sitting
Thinking all alone
Of all of life's mysteries,
All the facts unknown

Then I thought to myself,
"How could this be?"
How can we really know anything
If our only basis is what we see?

What is truely reality,
The dream world or real life?
Is what we call insanity
Nothing more than seeing beyond the human eye?

I can't help but thinks there's more
To this world than what it seems
I can't settle for simple answers,
"It's just life," doesn't fufill my needs

Then suddently i found myself screaming,
"Someone just tell me please!"
I just wanted to understand
But to who was it to that i did scream?

Then it simply all made sense
As I replied,
"Oh, hello again god..."

I like it with either line. You did a good job writing this. There is more to this poem than what is on the surface.
