I start to think about your creation, Lord!
I merely look at the sand beneath my feet
And I wonder how You and I chanced to meet...
Abraham's descendents would be as many or more of these grains of sand.
I am but one sandy grain, even though it was through adoption Your plan!
How could you pick up just one gritty, dirty, little grain--
And love it, die for it, and save it by rising again?
It doesn't make sense, it just can not compute--
That this grain of sand was worth something to you.
Yet your thought for it are far more than this rhyme--
Your many thought for each must surely take time.
You know Your Word says you don't look at the outside, but the heart.
I guess I need to think less about the gritty, dirty part.
Inside is where the spark of love can grow.
Inside it is where the Lord's pure light can glow.
In the world's eyes I am just a piece of sand;
Yet under a microscope a crystal stands!
Oh Lord--Thank you for opening my eyes,
To see Your Hand as You create lives!
I know you don't just love one little speck of sand,
But Your love flows out to every person and land!
I do love You, Lord, with every fiber of my being!
Please, O Lord, let others come to know You through the sand that they are seeing! I take one grain of sand, I break it up, put it in the bucket to fill it up, some may only see one grain, the rest are so small, but the heart is the one who can see clearly, and count their blessings. Its all in the bucket, look closely.
