~~~~~
It all started in ninety-two
And soon her garden grew
She skillfully painted every seed
And plucked out every weed
And with the help of the rain and sun
Her flowers grew second to none
Momma’s garden was a beautiful sight
It seems to glisten with the light
She painted flowers of every kind
Even some that are hard to find
Her pride and joy, my dad would say
Until the winter took them away
I remember fondly upon those blooms
And all the time she took to groom
Day after day she attended then well
And her efforts paid off swell
Only a loving heart so pure and meek
Could grow such a beautiful garden in which I speak
That is a very good discription of my aunt. Every year as far back as i could remember she planted a garden. And every year i came home I would eat meals composed of the veggies from that garden: corn and peppers beans and okra squash and tomatoe. They were all good and even now she is probably growing something and i can not wait to see what it is.
My mother was a great gardener, had a wonderful green thumb.
She had always told me, "Bring me flowers before I die, do not save them for my grave. Where I am going, I will have my flowers there."
I know there is a beautiful garden in heaven, The Lord showers me with those beautiful flower petals each day from heaven.
Beautiful write
