Array ( [sid] => 106138 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I once met an angel [time] => 2005-09-21 09:36:16 [hometext] => Have you ever met someone and blown every chance you ever had of being with them. Felt like you have lost a part of yourself in losing their love. How do you keep hope for any future love if you have already lost someone so absolutely perfect?! [bodytext] => I once met an Angel…

I once met an Angel
And on her cheek saw a tear.
I once saw an Angel
Her lips trembling with fear.

I once touched the Angel
Her hands were so cold.
I once touched this Angel -
Her sorrows seemed old.

I wish I’d talked to my Angel
And told her my name.
I wish I’d talked to the Angel
Our fears seemed the same.

Now I search for this Angel
But never to find.
I’ve looked for my Angel
My eyes have turned blind.

I wish I’d talked to my Angel
And told her the truth.
Spoken to my Angel
‘Stead of acting aloof…
