But we push away love, and in the end, we are utterly alone... [bodytext] => An icy wall,
Surrounds me,
Where love is lost,
And life is lonely.

I know I am the cause,
I made myself this way.

I allowed the fire to die,
Froze the ashes.

I allowed myself to falter,
To push you away farther.

And now within my darkness,
No warmth can I obtain.
Where love is lost,
And life is lonely.

I love your poem....It hits home...I am sorry that you are going through this...It's not easy especially alone. I read this book that really helped me when I went through this. It's called Fear is Letting Go of Love. I can't remember the author ....but this book helped me to move on and made me realize that you really can't love until you let go of fear. Remember, You can't feel love and fear at the same time. Good luck and take care.....Email me anytime you need a friend...I will always be here - Jen
