[title] => Wells Run Dry
[time] => 2005-08-31 11:53:49
[hometext] => How do we know when, Too much is too much and Enough is Enough... When the wells run dry.
[bodytext] => I visited this well along time ago I remember my first time The freshness, the taste of such pureness. It was sweet smoothness Honored was I to drink from such a well Its senseless intoxication had drunken me by barely a sip to the tongue I have drawn from other wells …none like this I continued to visit. Looking forward daily to my fill Spellbound was I. It was magic all over…visions of it I have seen Each time each sip I was filled My pail runneth over… It became an obsession …my frequency to drink so often The chest has become more swollen than the gut This well once visited, was unforgettable for me Selfish I am now not so much then This well is mine …I wish for it to be mine It has my health my heart my life my strengths …Mine Mine Mine I found it or perhaps it found me I am not the only one who has visited apparently… A hangover as suddenly taken over The well is slowly running dry Some days it seems hollow and my pail appears empty. Yet I return for a filling. Maybe to receive or not achieve I know there is still something left cause I try to preserve it the days before, the nights before, weeks, month’s …years. But sometimes the well appears to have already been visited Feeling empty. I remember my first time only to return One day this well may fill me…only me But still has not. I wonder if I am to ever be free from the spell of this well [comments] => 0 [counter] => 265 [topic] => 48 [informant] => kamelion [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
