The whole day is sour you'd rather have tooth decay
Your clothes are still in the washer and they just haven't been dried
It's either snowing or raining when you take that peek outside
Your late for work and forgot to lock your door
You're sleep deprived and need that liquor store
Work is busy and you don't even get a rest
And when it's noon, lunch you have to request
You race to McDonalds to have that new flatbread thingy on the list
You have someone elses order and soon you clench your fist
Two hours later you spill your coffee on your lap
Your co-worker laughs and oooh you're gonna snap
Why is everyone looking at me you ask
You forgot to wash off that hydrating facial mask
You broke a nail and stubbed your toe
Not to mention three days late with your mentstrual flow
Pens have no ink and the phones ringing just won't stop
You wish weed was legal for your a potential drop
That woman in the bathroom won't stop talking to you about her issue
You're so upset that she passes you a tissue
You're skin is gross and is breaking out from stress
This mornings velcro roller came out, and now your hairs a mess
Finally the day is ending and you can now go home
A hot hot bubblebath with some pearly foam
Of course you slip and fall, your wet with no grip
Some milk and cookies before bed, yes chocolate chip
Your outta milk because your boyfriend had last drop
Flu is coming and you forgot to get your shot
Your man asks "What's wrong with you?"
Give him that glare and now he's right on cue
He kisses your nose and tells you to calm down
This ended with you looking like the clown
You crawl into bed to watch your favorite show
You missed Everyone Loves Raymond because your clock and watch are slow
Put that new battery in, set it and close your eyes
Say a prayer to God and kiss todays events goodbye
Just tell God everything your grateful for from your heart
And at the end politely ask tomorrow be a fresh start
Thank you God for hearing and putting up with me
It's now time for me to go and get my beauty sleep.

Dear Vixen99, Very good one! I can tell you that those days still occur in later life. Rest does make a world of difference and I, too, thank God for new beginnings. Bizzy
