Earth in space takes its rest on a sapphire.
And the sapphire casts out its blue rays right.

The rich British Crown Jewels where they lie
do now show bluish gems of the Empire.
All the sapphires there do give us fine sight.

Cool blue stone's Jupiter's mark that's so high.
Through strong scope seen as a spot of bright fire.
And in space circles the sun with great light.

Near stands priest chosen of God who prays nigh
in a breastplate of gems and some play lyre.
For all time stone will bless as it shines bright.

This is heaven's stone so blue as the day sky.
Earth in space takes its rest on a sapphire.
And the sapphire casts out its blue rays right.
