I might seem silent
but inside, i scream, i hurt
because i can never say the things i feel.

Darkness is my home.
A cave with a small entrance
which makes it hard for my soul to leave.

The wings behind my back
are shattered, broken.
There's no room to spread them open.
So i can fly away and come to you.

And my voice?it's just a whisper.
whenever it wants to say what and how it feels,
it just fades in the air.
The truth never to be heard.

That is who i am.
A coward, a silent cry in the dark.
A shadow within the shadows.
A fool.

But from very far I see a dim light,
a thin ray of sun.
Struggling it's way through the darkness,

I'm not who i seem to be.
I might seem silent
but inside, i scream, i hurt
because i can never say the things i feel.

Darkness is my home.
A cave with a small entrance
