I promise to never cheat again
I never want to hurt you again
When you hurt, I can feel your pain
It’s the one thing that keeps me humane
I truly care for you, as we are one
I pray that we may set a union
Between our hearts and our minds
I realized that I’ve been unkind
How I broke your heart apart
I want to help reset those parts
For I have caused all the damage
I’m sure that inside you have a passage
To your trust, can you please open
The door to it again, I have broken
All the ties that we once had
Since without your light, I’m sad
I hope you may forgive me for

I promise to never cut
But you still keep your heart shut
