Up and back a couple of times or more
The old dirt road is getting worn
Clearing my head, once again being born

Looking through the fog, my vision's unclear
Losing you is the only thing I fear
Our future's uncertain but we will try
We are still here though sometimes I ask why

The long, rugged road never seems to end
My heart is shattered, unable to mend
Where the journey takes me, I will never know
My feelings for you are hidden and will never show [comments] => 1 [counter] => 174 [topic] => 22 [informant] => shatteredreflection [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Dirt Road

I've been down this road before
Up and back a couple of times or more
The old dirt road is getting worn
Clearing my head, once again being born

Looking through the fog, my vision's unclear
Losing you is the only thing I fear
Our future's uncertain but we will try
We are still here though sometimes I ask why

The long, rugged road never seems to end
My heart is shattered, unable to mend
Where the journey takes me, I will never know
My feelings for you are hidden and will never show
