Our Tales the Stars Will Tell

(I tried to do what I could to follow the rhythm and flow of Stairway to Heaven but I could only do so well.)
//Sometimes we live and sometimes we grow
With no seeds to sow and nothing to show
With options blown away on brisk breezes
To our regret, we must lament, that bereavement
We take our struggles in stride, with bruises to pride
And swallow the cries to call for our own refusal
Sun and moon rise and heavens they wind
Stars out at night, watching our fight
One million spectators on black paper
How is it so, that we must learn so?
That despite all our hope and wishes we throw
Heroes still die and the nameless will grieve them?
Our conscience it bites, with our peace dead to rights
Nerves tangle with spite, as our stomachs clench tight
Fears rushing on, as we try to stay strong and relieve them
Your heart quakes and roams, even while resting at home
Feeling as though, you/'/ve been buried in stone
Like the stars we aren/'/t that far and you/'/re not alone
My heart it bleeds and the stains soak my sleeve
My tongue it holds still but the care will still spill
Into the aether to an oasis
I hope we can find our selves a way there, to let down our hair
Plan out the words and rest for a spell
Speak in echoes and wells, for the stars to drink and then tell;
Our stories that go on, with their writ sewn in bond
Whispers of a life, that will some day be forgotten
For the battle we fought, will be ringing out, not loud but so often
