What if everything is just a lie
this reality we know is only fake
Living each day stressed out
how much of it can we take

So much corruption in the world
our history being blemished by hate
It has been conceivable for so many years
by each and every state

Society is being divided
more and more every single day
Many blame guns as the problem
and the lies that politicians say

Supposedly there are illuminati
basically the very wealthy in control
They pay desperate people to cause trouble
maintaining havoc and secrecy is their goal

Why is everyone so spiteful
and keep digging in past history
I thought education was about progress
to make a better future for you and me

Are we living a lie
do history books tell not the truth
It’s hard to tell if we are
with today’s generation and youth

If our government does lie
why is it so hard to find out the truth of it all
Why do we keep voting in corrupt people
that only help America fall

This is not about any president
or groups that hate as they do
It’s about individuality
and the coming together of me and you

It’s a minute to twelve
saving our great country is what we all need
Coming together united
we can stop the corrupt from making America bleed

I love my country
so let’s stop tearing it all apart
Let’s make a better future together
if it all was a lie, let’s just make a brand new start
