With a headache.

Trying to walk
When I stubbed my toe.

The feeling
Of going from one end
To the other

Again
And again

But not exactly getting anywhere.

Trying to think
With a headache,
And I haven't thought
Of anything.

Life feels distant;
Even the pain
Of my headache
Is distant.

And I walk from one end
To the other
To get closer

But I don't;

I'm still
Far away.

Getting dizzy
In a shadowland,
Where my hands
Aren't touching the keyboard

And the words just slowly appear.

Inside a dull headache,
The words getting blurry;
The feelings and thoughts
Getting lost...

And finally beginning
To disappear.

Trying to think
With a headache.

Trying to walk
When I stubbed my toe.

The feeling
Of going from one end
To the other

Again
And again

But not exactly getting anywhere.

Trying to think
With a headache,
And I haven't thought
Of anything.

Life feels distant;
Even the pain
Of my headache
Is distant.

And I walk from one end
To the other
To get closer

But I don't;

I'm still
Far away.

Getting dizzy
In a shadowland,
Where my hands
Aren't touching the keyboard

And the words just slowly appear.

Inside a dull headache,
The words getting blurry;
The feelings and thoughts
Getting lost...

And finally beginning
To disappear.
