and for the birds that fly
Thank you for friends who oft remind me
of the gifts you give each day
I don't have to live in self pity
I can take some time out to pray

There are moments when I wonder why you chose me
When I think about all you've done for me

Thank you for forgiving my transgressions
when I fall to weakness
Thank you for love that strengthens
and helps me to do my best
Thank you for the moon and stars at night
and the black before the dawn
They are here to remind me

Thank you for the green that fills my heart space
surrounded by an azure sky
Thank you for the sunshine in my window
