[title] => Winter is Beautiful When Blind
[time] => 2015-02-06 20:00:00
[hometext] => On the bright side of things
[bodytext] => The cold might bite
In day and night
But sometimes I find
Winter is beautiful when you are blind
Step outside and close your eyes
Raise your noise to the sky
Winter is here, you can't deny her
As you wif the faint wood-burning fire
In the snowstorm, put your cell phone down
Of what you hear, how many are new sounds?
Listen-to the scampering squirrels and the faint breath of a doe who is lying down
And the giggling of trees
How they are so pleased
For long they have been alone, from leaves detached
Covered in snow, they are elated, they laugh
For so long, your body has hurt
From walking on ground, so far from dirt
Below your shoes, no longer you feel concrete
For it is pillowy snow that soothes your feet
The cold might bite
In day and night
But sometimes I find
Winter is beautiful when you are blind
