[hometext] => A short reflection piece on the marvel of lessons and where they come from
[bodytext] => I tried before n' I'm trying' right now
I'm tryin tryin tryin but I don't know how
I've tried to love properly n' I've tried to be a dad
A life of tryin' so hard, how it's endin' so sad.
I don't know where I'm goin' or where I comin' from
It's funny but I'm learnin' my lessons from my son,
He's teachin' me anew what it means to be alive
decades of blindness, all I wanna do is cry.
My eyes are comin' open, not as wide as I want
the crust of this culture, I've got to shake it off
Consumerism mindset, I'm finally breakin' free
Changin' my perception after half a century.
