Soon to be recognised,
as the ones calling out:

O world you play such ratched games of war,
but we are calling out to you:
No more war games on our behalf,
for do you not hear our cry for peace?

Do our hearts not bleed,
amidst this tragedy?
Are our tears invain,
as the world hits us with everything it's got.

Can you not see,
it is your tragedy too?
Are we not all flesh and blood,
made of the same stuff?

Our unwinding fate,
will bring you up to speed.
Of humanity's future,
as we meet one way or the other.

Should you not bother,
because we live far far away?
A different land,
a different background.

But still flesh and bones,
who can get hurt.
So our heart is calling out,
to the world at large:

Show your spirit,
cause our faith is intertwined.
And any indifference toward us,
will come back to hunt you.

So do you care about us,
as if we we're your own children.
Then be brave enough to take a stand,
back in your own homeland.

Let the world know,
war games will cost us all dearly.
Even when you just see it on television,
or are in the middle of it.

But most of all,
know this.
Those that remain indifferent to the fate
of any child anywhere.

Is worse then the most bloodthirsty soldier,
fighting on the battlefield.
At least their honest enough,
to take a stand in this.

Unlike those that remain indifferent,
which is saying:
i hold no value in life dear enough,
to stand up for the children of war....

The Syrian children are fleeing their homeland,
becoming refugees of war.
