Yet I wondered off path
An area I know well
And I wondered away fast

Trying to guide myself within
But this pain suffocates it all
Unable to hear my own thoughts
I just watched myself fall

Looking for a lighted path
To escaped this darkened tomb
Unable to tell if my eyes are open or closed
I fear this impending doom

But I choose to stand.
And aimlessly walk till I find my way
Till I find the warmth of the light
And live to see another day [comments] => 1 [counter] => 130 [topic] => 43 [informant] => bigj [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Lost guide

Directions I give
Yet I wondered off path
An area I know well
And I wondered away fast

Trying to guide myself within
But this pain suffocates it all
Unable to hear my own thoughts
I just watched myself fall

Looking for a lighted path
To escaped this darkened tomb
Unable to tell if my eyes are open or closed
I fear this impending doom

But I choose to stand.
And aimlessly walk till I find my way
Till I find the warmth of the light
And live to see another day
