To them,
I am a ghost,
Someone who has long since past
Someone who no longer matters.

I am forgotten.

Nobody cares.
They don't see "me"
The "me"
That shouts for some sort of recognition,
For at least a glance.

I am forgotten.

No matter what place I "haunt"
No matter how loud a smile I proclaim
Or how bright a laugh I sound
Nobody hears me.

I am forgotten.

I want to remembered.
Not forgotten.

But nobody sees me...

I am forgotten.
